Called this morning to get an appointment for advice and was able to be booked in for a consultation call with Mr Amir Naviwala the same day. It took a while to get their confirmation email after I made the bank transfer, and had to call back twice to check that they'd received my payment and send me a link for the video call by email. I spoke to Amir who was very knowledgeable and kind and offered his time to guide me on an expired 5 year unmarried partner leave to remain visa. He gave me the option of completing my life in the UK test quickly and submitting my settlement visa before the 14 days of good reason visa expiration.
